Free Surgery? Not quite.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as “free surgery.” Surgery is very expensive and has many components-all of which must be organized, coordinated and paid for. There are many surgeons on the front lines who see uninsured patients every day. They would like to help these patients but they can’t do it on their own just by donating their service. Helping Hands Surgical Care was created to garner support from the community to help surgeons do charity surgery. Surgeons donate their time and expertise and the community helps to pay the associated costs for providing surgery for patients in need.
